Pro 200 allowance change (dated)
OpenAI: "New subscriptions that aren't eligible for grandfathering include a lower usage allowance than previously offered with Pro 200 … The monthly price remains $200."
Grandfathering applies if you had an active Pro 200 subscription at any point from September 22, 2026 through 10 a.m. Pacific Time on September 29, 2026. Eligible customers can use the previous included allowance through October 29, 2026 while the subscription stays active. After that date, the subscription moves to the lower allowance; the price stays $200/month. Keeping the old allowance does not add Ultrafast.
As of 2026-10-26: the old allowance still runs through October 29; the move to the lower allowance is scheduled after that date (October 30), not yet in effect.

A user email quoted on madrobot.blog (Oct 2, 2026) says Work/Codex allowance drops from 20x to 10x Plus, and GPT-6 Pro chat from 200 to 100 messages/week. OpenAI's help page does not publish these numbers — only that Pro 200 includes more usage than Pro 100 and Pro 500 is highest. Shown here attributed only; it does not count toward our index bar.
